The AIAS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), has opened submissions for its annual scholarship programs benefiting students and early professional in the video games industry from now until May 31, 2023. The AIAS Foundation, WomenIn, and Girls for Gaming scholarships are provided to students and early professionals in game design, production, or business who aspire to make a mark on the games industry through their dedication, passion, and interest in pushing forward the medium of interactive entertainment. The AIAS Foundation Scholarship supports aspiring student game makers in undergraduate, graduate level programs, and early professionals (recent graduates within the first two years in the industry), who are pursuing a career in development/leadership.
Student scholarship recipients receive a $2,500 tuition reimbursement, an all-expense paid trip to the 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit, and take part in a mentorship program.
Early professional scholarship recipients receive an all-expense paid trip to the 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit, a $2,000 stipend to another industry event within the calendar year, and take part in a mentorship program.
The WomenIn Scholarship was established as a collaborative effort to attract, retain, and advance women in the video game industry by supporting education and professional development programming.
